Loving you
What can I say, you changed me.... From the outside in from the inside out, you made me see what was missing in me. I found truth when I looked at you, in your eyes I found strength. A million miles and mountains couldn't move me, but at your word I'd fly away to you. You don't see what I see, you don't know what I know of your soul. Something I hold the closest to me and I never plan on releasing. The stars aligned, kismet, the day we met and it was like all the worlds I me ever known came together in that spot and it became apparent to me that you, my dear, were all I'd ever want. The funny thing with love though, is that it changes you, your very being, your roots, your core. And whether or not it's reciprocated is invalid, all that matters is that the act of love itself has taught us. Loving you taught me to be selfless, to be kind, to give and not expect to receive, to breathe, to love being me, to be wild and take risks. You've shown me how to love not because you loved me back but because I loved your soul. That's all anyone could ask for... You have me a precious gift... The gift of knowing how to love, and mostly, how to love myself. Of all things love has the most power, and when we allow ourself to truly love someone else, we become our true selves.
